There was a court reference ID on the public record, but the court records are not published online, in order to access them you have to co to the court clerk and request them. So whether or not he was convicted would not be on the website unless he was an inmate at one of the penitentiaries. Inmate information is available online.

I can't believe some of the disregard for domestic violence that some have posted. I have no clue what went on or why he was arrested, but I find it shameful that someone would basically say "the bitch had it coming." Especially when this is someone who bragged about taking naked pictures of girls without their knowledge on youtube.

It's not like it's normal for someone to get arrested for domestic violence. While he may not have been convicted, as Thraxle said it reflects poorly on him as a person. On the one hand, if he did assault or threaten assault her, regardless of whether there was a conviction it says a lot about him.

I'll give an example - Last year, I got woken up late at night with police at the door because one of my friends had been kidnapped by a significant other. She had been hit multiple times and had a huge black eye, and called 911 surreptitiously with the phone in her purse. She had to jump out of the moving car and flag down a truck to get away. Despite all of this, she decided not to press charges, and the guy was let off without a mark on his record. I'm not saying that my friend's experience is what Jesse did, all I'm saying is that convictions in domestic violence situations are very uncommon, and the conviction or lack thereof says nothing about what actually happened.

Even if it was just an argument that got out of hand, for something to escalate to the point where the police need to be called, it really looks bad.

Under the civil rights act this would constitute discrimination dead - they aren't allowed to not hire him over an equally qualified candidate just because he has a mugshot on the Internet but no criminal record. Something similar happened recently either in Chicago or New York where a chick was fired for talking shit about her boss on facebook. Basically the chick sued arguing it wasn't the boss's or company's business what she said on Facebook and won. Different situation but I think there's a common thread there.

That being said you raise a good point in that this would be hard to prove - you'd need an inside man or something along those lines to provide evidence. Kind of like how the lawyer of the lady who sued McDonalds for getting burned by her coffee had internal documents from McDonald's corporate that proved the temperature was intentionally high. The dude was just waiting to find someone to sue for.

Like I said before, I'm not trolling at all. Not even a little. Domestic violence is completely heinous, and I have strong feelings about it because I have a personal experience with a friend who was a victim.

Please elaborate to clear the air of what you were trying to say in the chat earlier. I must have missed your point.

Does that take away from their accomplishments?
Should we respect those people less because of what they did? It was a commonplace thing for a man to beat his wife.

And your implication being that we should not judge Jesse because he did something that used to be commonplace.

4th of july party. everyone drunk. cops involved. someone else says they saw me hit said girl. drunk girl says i didn't touch her. cop says he has to detain me and charge me because he cannot take the word of a sober girl. i get booked. hours later she comes in sober and says i didn't touch her. charges = dropped and expunged.

there are 26 (that ive counted) websites that post mugshots and charges booked on and charge 100 dollars a piece to have them removed. i don't have 2 grand sitting around.
