Why is it so hard to stay focus?
The initial subject: Is it what we want from our advisors?

So let's try to answer that.

Sam wrote that:
"Long time ago, kids with down syndrom, like Jona, were left to die." He added: "This was a good thing".

The question we (Ryan, mods and us users) should ask is:
1) Is there any rules against hate language on the Kdice website and can we get ban for it? Yes (From Sam own's word)
2) Analyse if these specific sentences should get Sam banned (at least as a Mod from the initial question).

So what is worse? Insulting people (even the N.. word) or implying that person with disabilities should be left to die (which I will remind you again, even though I am sure that Sam (like BCMatt) did not know it when he wrote it, was one of the Nazi's concept to "clean" their race).

In my mind, it is very clear that agreeing with the death of (innocent) disabled people is worse than insulting people (and I guess that the innocent ones that have been left to die would agree with me).

So now and once again so that we stop wasting our time. The question is not whether Sam believes he is right or wrong; the question is not whether we are all whining c... for not having a tough skin (as Sam poetically puts it)?
The question is: Should he be stripped of his Mod privilege for the use of this language? Is he infringing the hate language rules?

I believe he does as I cannot imagine anything worse than what he wrote up here (btw Sam, very seriously, you should see a therapist. I am not talking about your sado-masochist affinity (love of insulting and being insulted), but these thoughts cannot only be produced by a sick mind. I know you will not care but I still believe it was worth a shot).

So if we agree that this is about as bad as it gets in terms of hate language, we should (Mods and Non Mods) email Ryan to ask him to strip Sam from his Mod ability.

Sorry. One minor correction. It is not "people left to die" I should have written, but "babies left to die".

I disagree. I think Sam should be a mod, as much as i think he can be a fuck knuckle.

I just don't want to hear him telling me to tone down my language when he himself writes offensive and inflammatory things.

So, as a user, what I want is for Sam to either adhere to his own rules, or to stay out of my business and not be hypocritical.

As i said before, I agree with Sam in that people need a thicker skin. It's the Internet, why do you care what some random 14 year old kid says to you? I strongly disagree with hypocrisy and I don't want to ever be told off again for using inflammatory language by Sam.

Thrill makes sense there. First reasonable argument I've heard from the anti-Sam camp.
Keep Sam as mod, don't bother thrill...makes sense.

To be honest, I do not care about Sam being a Mod or not but if there are rules, he should obey by them. Not our decision.

My personal take on this if it was my website (as i told Verm earlier):
- No rules
- No banning

This is just a game... No more...

(Doesn't change the fact that Sam has personal issues he needs to address)

hervey, it was neither of your statements....the damn quote is at the top of the screen and the CONTEXT of the message was to belittle Jona, not babies with downs. This is no different than the 500 times I've been told to "get cancer and die" on this website. Thicken that skin up ladies.

So lets do some text analysis and you tell me where you disagree.

In the old day = long time ago
Downy kids = kids with down syndrom
Like jona = jona is a kid with down syndrom
Were left to die of exposure as babies = were left to die in the open after birth
I think = sam think
The old days had some merit = it was a good thing

In other words, a kid with down syndrom like jona should have been left to die after birth.

Now, if you read something else, i would like you to tell me where is the mistake i am making by doing the same analysis i did.
