at my 4-year-olds preschool for a little while yesterday, and as I scan the forum here from time-to-time, I come to the realization that those 4-year-olds have an equal to, or greater than, maturity level than a good portion of this "adult" community. This is the main reason I don't actively moderate anymore. If I wanted to babysit a bunch of immature human beings, I would have much more fun at my son's preschool than I do here.

at 9:03 AM, Tuesday June 21, 2011 EDT had a going away lunch for a coworker yesterday. one of the other guys in the group is an obv mormon. the dude leaving also just got married 3 weeks ago, so i was asking him about if/when kids were going to come into play. he and his wife laughed and were like, not for a few years. the mormon gave off the standard mormon slightly-disapproving-smug-look, which both of us noticed and decided to press.
me: oh yah? no kids for awhile huh? dude: nah, we figure we just won't have any sex. me: i mean, no biggie, yall have already been having sex for several months already. dude: exactly, its like weve been married for a year already! so much fun needling the mormon. (says the southern baptist) |
