If you play a level lower than you could actually play, I....

automatically lose respect for you. It proves how you have not understood the game, the risk involved, or game theory at large. When you sit at a 100 with 2000 points, I *know* you are a noob. When you play 500s with 25000 points, I *know* that you are a coward.
Especially if these pathetic losers start weak flagging in round 2 so they don't lose 0.1% of their score. Shame on you. |

at 2:56 PM, Sunday March 20, 2011 EDT About alts for tourneys... I could really care less if the crap that's happening between tops would stay there. Sadly, when alts of friends join tourneys, they sometimes pull the same PGA/OTF shit. Which means, you can play for more than an hour just to get screwed in the end. NOT fun.
"People just have to show a bit more determination (because I want them to do what I want)". Fixed. To be honest, panzer said what really had to be said - we play the tables we want to, and other opinions about forcing us to play what YOU want should really stay where the sun doesn't shine. |

at 6:11 PM, Sunday March 20, 2011 EDT You know Yodel you're a piece of fucking work. I've sat around telling myself that there is some sort of good in you, but I'm clearly wrong. You knowing what his name means, and still 'saying' it's gay after saying you value our friendship?
You clearly value nothing, You think you can sit there and insult that and it's no big deal. When by insulting it you insult My family, my kids?!? My husband? You are a piece of shit. You know me on a pretty personal level and to say you know the meaning... and still have the nerve to call it gay... clearly shows that you don't value friendship at all. So go back to being that troll you once were. I don't care, what you do. Just don't think I'm gonna sit around and be a friend to you, because your are nothing, and will always be nothing. If you have to take your life's anger and act like a child online that's your business, not mine. You're a piece of shit kthnxbye |

at 9:41 AM, Monday March 21, 2011 EDT I thank CL for pge-ing everybody with more than 2k points playing at 500 atm. I also appreciate the reviews he's currently writing. It sure makes the game fun. I should have read this thread befor, than I'd known what to expect. Chasing people that don't act like you want them to is not good manors though.
The guys cheating points through tourneys and a few games risk just those 0.1% playing 2k... Why should I be forced to risk 33% running into an "obvious unspoken truce determined by the motion of that 2stack in turn 1"? Not otf or pga, just me not getting the game... It is that kind of effect that kills the higher tables. Frequent players there are like a big family since ELO-days (2k was a limit there as well). Many aren't even anonymous anymore but know each other in real life. This is not a luck-based game with some strategy involved at rare occasions, it is closer to clan-wars. The idea of having strikter limits is interesting though. More players might reduce the effect of family-ties. However, you see how fast the family gets to 2k through the masses at the lower tables shows how well they work. I guess Jurgen is right - it would lose you players if the losses stay the way that you can drop to 100 tables in 2 games from 2k. |

at 2:19 PM, Monday March 21, 2011 EDT @captainLAGER: Some people need scores in a game like kdice to save their self.esteem and some dont...
I mostly play at 100 tables even when I have enough points to play at 500 or higher, because there are the most fun. They arent annoying other people as much as on higher levels. The most epic games I've ever seen were ALL on 100 tables. People dont have to worry about dom and stuff. In case you still haven't noticed, I and many others play this game for fun, not for scores or experimental game theory. I find early weak flags annoying too, though. |

Curtis isn't your husband you lie about that to make people think a lil better of you guys since you feel odd having kids at such a young age. You said it was ok for me to rail on him for the name over facebook. You even told me what it means and I said I was attacking him not you or your family and you said I qoute, "You can do what you want :)." So don't come on kdice being a dumb lil tramp and getting pissy with me. Finally. You need to stop being such a flirt with guys and pay more attention to your boyfriend and the family you guys have together. How about you try and get married for a chance instead of talking shit about him to everyone whenever he isn't around. See you never I hope. |

at 7:48 PM, Monday March 21, 2011 EDT I will often play 500's rather 2k. Want to know the reasons? No. Well here are some of the main ones....
* I'm usually busy doing something else at the same time and have to lag out. Lagging from 2k is significantly more loss of points * 2k takes a lot longer to fill up. I like to play rather than wait around. * PGA or OTF on 2k is definitely more common and I prefer a game without it. * Chat is more often required on 2k and I often like to play without chat. |

at 8:11 PM, Monday March 21, 2011 EDT Lager... there are no absolutes in K-dice.
To make any assumption as to a player's character simply based upon where they choose to sit is no different than being a racist. There are many reasons as to why peeps sit where they sit. While a small fraction of players may be classified as you have suggested, it's a bit much to generalize like that IMO. |

at 11:32 PM, Monday March 21, 2011 EDT rOn speaks for the little man.
What about the months Happy placed playing mostly 500s? Some people just prefer to grind it out with low risk. You would effectively be replacing the 0 tables with 100 tables for noobs. The 0 tables would be harder to fill and anyone new to the site would find it harder to get lost in kDice. As a current player i like the idea of lowering the maximums for the guys that want to medal. When players get 100k+ it is hard for them to get a game until the end of the month. As i see it either advertise to churn more new members and then lower score max at tables, or listen to rOn |
