If you play a level lower than you could actually play, I....

automatically lose respect for you. It proves how you have not understood the game, the risk involved, or game theory at large. When you sit at a 100 with 2000 points, I *know* you are a noob. When you play 500s with 25000 points, I *know* that you are a coward.
Especially if these pathetic losers start weak flagging in round 2 so they don't lose 0.1% of their score. Shame on you. |

at 11:31 AM, Wednesday March 23, 2011 EDT why not have it so that you need a min to play on the 0's-5k like it is now but have no max on all (even the 0's) tables. And have a bigger risk of losing points for the "higher" ranked player.
So if a player with 22k plays a 100 table and ends up in 7th he loses 50% if 6th lose 40% and so on -if he/she plays 500 table the % changes a bit - say 7th is 40% and so on. you would still have cutoff for plyer points as well - but if the player who cares more about points and has 22k would not wnat to risk losing 50% of thier points and would be "forced" to play the higest table w/ the least amount of risk. I know wrinting this in would be a tremendous taks that Ryan would probly not want to take on but . . . . and im sure someone w/ a bigger brain than i could expound/tweak it to make it better |

at 3:00 PM, Wednesday March 23, 2011 EDT Actually Earthship that is how things used to work, at least partially, way back in the day. It led to interesting things such as a positive 7th. A return to ELO with the new flags and dom system would improve this game IMO.

FLAGGING FOR POSITION HAS RUINED KDICE!! FLAGGING FOR POSITION HAS RUINED KDICE!! FLAGGING FOR POSITION HAS RUINED KDICE!! FLAGGING FOR POSITION HAS RUINED KDICE!! FLAGGING FOR POSITION HAS RUINED KDICE!! And you are ignorant if you think otherwise ;-) |

at 12:07 AM, Thursday March 24, 2011 EDT Simple check box raises your flag. Game ends when all players outside of first are flagged or dead. Players get the position they are in based on number of lands held, so play IN 2nd gets 2nd etc etc..

at 5:30 AM, Thursday March 24, 2011 EDT Louis if you think me schooling you is being insulting, maybe you should reflect on your behavior and not take me pointing it out as an offense. As soon as stop harassing smaller players, I stop criticizing you. Don't take it personal, I just take offense to your consistent antisocial behavior at this game. The very fact that you want to mute me, that you want to shut off the criticism you get from me, indicates that deep down inside you you have a guilty conscience that KNOWS what you're doing is evil and wrong. So stop going to the 500s with 10000 points and killing guys with 514 points "for fun and because i dont like risk"
You cause shit like this, you should be ashamed: Rank: 3129th Score: -360 to 154◆. Sam, ELO days are over, they're not coming back, and being able to flag indiscriminately enabled ninja flagging. I don't think anyone wants that back. Lower table limits would solve those problems much more elegantly. |

at 8:06 AM, Thursday March 24, 2011 EDT CL, there is another discussion on this your holy war where I finally found the reason why you want more players at higher tables.
Everybody gets killed and thrown back to the pits now and then. Nobody likes that. It is nice when sometimes you don't do it, but most of the time you will. Where is the difference in me having 1.9k or 10k to the guy going back to 100? There is non. So please spare me of your smartass comments like "you don't deserve anything, you don't belong here...". I do take "you" personal - sorry, English is not my first language. I got your point, I don't agree - repeating it won't make me. By bugging you won't make me neither and there is /mute. |
