Requesting mods to review longhair's (aka murti) gameplay on 2000 lvl maps. If he plays legit without any pga, fine. But two games now he got silent truces on the boogybytes 2000 lvl map. Gameplay seriously questionable.

yeah Thrax, I haven't commented yet but I was planning to.

I am in the hate part of my typical KDice love/hate cycles atm so I didn't want to comment on game related stuff (blame Gurgi for it or thank him for it, depends on how you look at it).

I agree with Sam's opinion that Murti is somewhere in that grey area. His language barrier forces him to play the way he does in a way but maybe, rather than banning right away, we should try and explain how far he can go in being a friendly neighbour.

And if a ban is needed, I propose that neither me or Shevar do it since we are both only a one night drive away from Murti (and he is on my facebook friends so I am REALLY SCARED :-S). How about Myriad? He is pretty far away and he has no kids yet?

chloe its not about spotting silent truces thats easy done but im still waiting for you to explain how do you prove someone is pgaing with someone they like and just calling it a silent truce..and getting away with it..which you are probaly doing when a freind is sitting at a table..like you said from the 1st turn you have chosen someone to truce with so surely you have them picked before the game starts how do you know they even gonna silent truce with you if you dont know them....

You have to realize murti that having "strong" neighbours without saying anything in chat and the other players don't know your allies are is a strongly high advantage over the other players. Avoiding to take land from those you silently ally with... ok, maybe on the 0-100 level tables, but when you're at the 2000 lvl tables where players can lose a ton of points, that gives you an extreme advantage over other players who don't know you have allies (aka pga). Do you realize this? Ignorance of the kdice rules should not be an excuse (no offense) especially at the 2000 level maps.

That's why I'll stick to the 500 level maps. This is not fair gameplay... whether a player is respectable or not. It's still not fair for players who don't know Murti's gameplay. It's basically a points advantage for him.

Now you know murti's gameplay. If you play with him, you know you can be a cool neighbor. Don't you know players on the 500 level tables? Don't you know their playing styles?

That's all this game is......learning others playing styles. Making the right strategic moves as far as attacking lands is easy. Making the right strategic moves as far as knowing who you're playing with and how they will react to you is the real crux of this game. Knowing how players play is the best advantage you can give yourself whether it means you're more apt to attack someone, or more apt to truce someone based on games you've played with them in the past.

If the mods think Murti's gameplay is fair, then I hope his style is applied to all players who do the same thing. If this is a rule, it should be applied to all? Right?
