If you break the rules with one of your accounts, you should be allowed to make a new account and start over. I don't agree with the mods kicking people out permanently based on IP address.

First of all, I like when Bone Roller posts. The ability to have a rational conversation at more than a seventh grade level is indeed appreciated. Secondly, mods, as far as I know, don't have the ability to IP ban. That can only come from Ryan. Maybe there's some super power I don't have, though. And if you're looking for a site that doesn't allow multiple accounts, look to www.conquerclub.com. Well-run and moderated competently (for the most part, certainly not perfectly) and they make a good amount of money to boot. |

at 8:59 PM, Sunday December 20, 2009 EST www.chess.com also works nicely and is run by 3 dudes on an empty apartment, but you can't compare those pros with a lazy bum who can´t code an internet forum right.
We can´t really complain about any mods job since they are taking shit everyday for no money, just so the site doens't turn into a complete chaos. Ryan decided to lie down on membership profits (which are probably meager, given the number of players on members tourneys)) and rely on those ppl's compassion, so i guess there's not much we can do other than hope he sells the site to some real pros asap. |

at 9:36 PM, Sunday December 20, 2009 EST I did IP checks on the Sunday Slam participants, thus the account change Gurgi.
I don't know shit about coding, so I would not pay more than $20.00 for this website. Verms, you're welcome to make an offer... |

at 9:44 PM, Sunday December 20, 2009 EST there are a lot of things that are nice about the 1ip address per account thing, but the problem with that is, that some people dont have the same ip address all the time bc of travelling around/using their laptop in diff locations/dynamic ip addresses/etc. so all in all i think it would cause way more frustration than it would solve.
