When someone posts on the advisorLog "This player is permanently banned" And then posts the IP address.. and then you see "Ban-Same Ip, Ban-Same Ip, Ban-Same Ip... that's the power of IP ban.You can specifically ban that IP from logging onto the server but you can post their IP and ban an account that has that IP every time you see one no matter if they're breaking rules or not. Do you not have this power that other moderators have been using?

Ehhh, you're kinda wrong jesse. An IP ban would simply block that IP address from logging on to the site. Keeping track of an IP manually and banning any account that pops up with it is a little more work intensive than you think. It's not like the mods have some extra information that pops up on the game board under a players name listing the IP they are logged in from. We have to click on the preference tab, then click moderate, then type the name in, then reference the IP with whatever list we may have, then take away all privileges, etc., etc.

Only Ryan can do an actual IP "block" if you prefer that language.

And how the hell are you going to ban euros from logging in, since their IP (mostly) changes every 24 hours?

I mean banning whole ISPs might be a bit weird.
