If you break the rules with one of your accounts, you should be allowed to make a new account and start over. I don't agree with the mods kicking people out permanently based on IP address.

Your analogy is terrible. But if you want to use the prisoner analogy...here's a better one.

The governor (Ryan) owns 3 prisons (Kdice, Xsketch, Gpokr). Rya makes a few vague laws governing his prisons, and lets the wardens (moderators) eforce and specify what each one means. The gov'na has given the wardens power to choose when to give give specific punishments out in their specific prisons.

The wardens of the kdice prison (Thraxle, Vermont) have a way of running their prison in a way they have deemed fair. Isolation (-post), Rubber Room (-chat). [Ok i guess technically people in the rubber room can talk but no one can hear them so its the same thing], Corporal Punishment(-play for 7 days) ...leading to capital punishment aka death aka -play for life.

So every now and then, a warden from the Gpokr prison will come over to kdice and give someone the death penalty for a first or second offense. (-play for life) Not only that, before he leaves he will kill the dead prisoner's entire family that wasn't even in prison to start with... and decree that any future family of his that are to be born.. will be immediately shot.

Do you guys get what I'm sayin now? Even if you wanna punish people, you have to do it by the methods that the current moderators of that site have set forth. I don't think Thrax or Verm go to the gpokr prison and set prisoners free...

P.S. Bone-Roller...you were DLK's best friend and you two co-owned a cyber-nation together for months so like... you have as much merit here as Adam's first born son.

I dont think thrax even bans based on IP only TCS

unless of course its account sharing

but like yeah, i agree with fiero and TCS sucks.

Jesse, I was third in charge of that CN alliance behind BR. Former relationships hav e no bearing on current ones.

It sounds to me like u guys have always the same ip.
Ip-Ban aint shit imo, coz it takes 5seconds to change your ip.

What happens if you are banned and you pay for the site? That wouldn't be fair.

Fiero, I realize that since you can't realistically defend your own behavior, you have to try to redirect attention with false accusations. This is not the first time you have made the spurious assertion that I was "best friends" with DLK.

DLK and I never shared an account. The fact is that I did join the Kdice contingent on Cybernations, along with you, Thrax, Shad, MBP, and a lot of others. I was made one of the leaders of the alliance and worked my ass off for an period of time. And, yes, for a relatively short period of time, I did try to reform DLK, both here and at CN. When I realized that was a futile effort, I gave it up and also quit the CN alliance.

I have had nothing good to say about DLK in a very long time. I have had nothing good to say about you in a very long time. The reason is that both of you are very similar in your behavior. You both seek any way to cheat and subvert the game to your benefit. You are both massive attention whores. You are both absolutely without any sense of honor or fair play. In short, you are both punks.

I have been playing a wide variety of alts for more than a year, since I retired the BR account. But I would still welcome a "1 IP, 1 Account" rule. I would also welcome a zero tolerance policy for shared accounts, proxying and blatant pga. The only stipulation would be that such a policy should be clearly posted.

In closing,

STFU

Funny story: I was playing as !eekstep way back in the day, we had a table almost 100 of leekstep look alikes. Ryan came in was annoyed at us and IP banned every name he could catch. Turned out I was playing from work. Thus he banned the public IP for the entire company ~4500 employees. I don't work there anymore but I still think that IP is banned on one of the servers that ryan uses cause when I left, I was able to play but pictures and stylesheets often wouldn't load.

This is just an example of the risk with IP bans. But IMO they are the best way to punish repeat offenders.
