best solution is to give mods more power obviously, but then at the same time ryan probably needs to spend more time on this site or find someone who can spend time on this site.

Banning alts isn't impossible, I'd just need the go-ahead from Ryan to disallow it. Then my spreadsheet of IP addresses would grow, and anytime I see a new account that looks suspect, I'd check the IP and ban it.

Everyone picks one account that they keep forever. Wouldn't be that hard.

Banning alts doesn't work for 1 reason. More than 1 person can play from 1 IP address. If more than 1 person in a company or business or apartment complex plays this game, they can share the same IP. Example, What if someone at Monte's work gets busted for pga at work and the IP address matches Monte's the next day. Then what? You keep this guy from making alt accounts by also banning The Full Monte?

as i see it the only situation which would arise that would warrant a permanent ip address ban would be if someone kidnapped ryan's dog, chopped off it's dick, and then stuck it up their own ass all while spamming the forums with pictures of said incident. or something.

There are plenty of very well-run sites that only allow one account per ip address and they work just fine. The inmates have been running the kdice asylum for a very long time. If the warden and his guards are going to start running it instead, I have absolutely no problem with it.
