Just suppose that certain members, under a certain amount of duress and peer pressure it must be added, are determined to silence a growing minority of players sick with PGA, position fixing, game fixing and elitism.
Just suppose that these certain members reputations are built purely on their ranking and standing alone, and without this they would be ignored. Just suppose that as someone who stands against all out cheating, hypocracy and lies, you stand a high chance of being made to look a mockery, despite continual proof and evidence that such an undercurrent exists. Just suppose the members who claim to be against such devious behaviour, are actually behind it as a result of being unable to cut ties with those who helped to make this game a success. Just suppose this thread is revealing all sorts of truths that will be disregarded by members who have no profile, no ident and no way of proving otherwise. Just suppose that it is possible to look in on full blown conversations in rooms that appear to be empty, and to glean a good deal of light from said conversations. Just suppose that certain members, who have magically appeared out of the woodwork are now insisting on crushing any commentary that would stand against this cosy setup. Just suppose that you are being duped, and that in this tiny avenue of the universe, crime does pay - and that the age-old adage 'it's not what you know, but who' is in full effect. Just suppose that in order to re-enforce their lies, this group of 'players' have to run other members names through the mud to ensure that no stone is turned, no angle is exposed. Just suppose that as a result of lies, these players are unable to justify any black-hearted, deceitful thing they say - and in turn have to rely on like minded individuals to corroborate their fiction. Just suppose that what I am saying is purely fantasy, paranoia and speculation, and that I have no solid evidence other than what I have recorded on this computer. Just suppose it all stopped, and all players were made equal. Enjoy your game. It is YOUR game... right? |

If you put together a solid body of facts that was cleanly and concisely stated instead of spewing indeterminate lines of cheep ‘wisdom’ through fruitless parallelism you might accomplish a goal yet! Instead, you elect to irk the audience into frenzy with nothing more then a poorly selected take on the issue; your information itself and with delivery aside proves to be of not only note but worthy of further investigation.
As for the rest of you, your behavior in large was like that of an untamed beast- a beast worth noting that has gone hungry for quite some time! Is this population so incapable of stepping beyond the self-indulgent tendency of destruction that we can not notice the validity of the content despite such trivial trappings as a grandiose delivery? Or worse, are we so narcissistic that such thoughts never enter, and never can enter, our minds? Surly, your thoughts were valid, so could there have been nicer ways to state your criticism, and better ways to acknowledge the points to which you concur? If not, I truly fear. Please, before commenting blindly on what I have said, read it twice. My words are well chosen, I make no attacks, and I craft language with a mix of style and sensibility wholly lacking the murder of parallelism and colloquial nature of most other postings. As for how much I may be indulging myself: I allow you to decide, but only if it be done with some craftsmanship… |

People are given two choices of how to respond: 1) they agree with you (and the rest of good kdice), or 2) they disagree with you, which means they are part of the conspiracy. When ELO was in effect the 1800's and 200's had different groups with different rules. It wasn't hard to break in and let people know who you were. Here's -6 and a few pointers about playing at the 2000 tables, instead of -20 and a trip back to the ruthless 1800's.

It's more like the natural progression of things after there was massive abuse by proxy cheaters, and real PGA threats. Azala still owes me a milkshake for fucking me over on the test server for second whilst giving it to copywrite with one land because Azala "owed" one to Copy. Who gives a shit? Not me. P.s.
