i have recently dropped below 2000 (and gutted) and the 1900 tables seem to come and go...cant there be permanent 1900 AND 2000 tables?

one loss at a 1700 table for me would mean me losing like a million points,,,i dont want that cos i know i can cut it at the top as i have done now for several weeks...i know other players are in similar positions...please sort it

there are often no 1900 tables when i want to play on them or 1900 tables change to 2000, even if there are players for it. some changes would be nice, e.g. at least one permanent 1900 table.

You score depends on playing on the right time more than playing good.

your score depends more on playing in the right range, and according to this also indirectly to the right time ... but the important thing is to playing in the right range!!! beeing one of the best 250-elo or not. that´s important! capiche fuzzycat?

mm sarah, the same people are at the top not because of intelligence, just because of a combination of others stupidity, luck, and metagame abilities, look at RND. Whether tech plays often or not now does not make him a has been lol. The game isn't so much different from the way it was before. And kdice skils don't dull with age. Tech is as good now as he was before, now he just doesn't put the effort into it. This does not change how good he is, it just means his rank will not relect his true skill. These scoring systems are based on many games being played to even things out.

And as for the challenging someone to a game thing being stupid. It most certainly is!! Unless of course you want to sit around and wait until a completely even start with no friends around, no enemies, and then guarentee that nobody will lose big, or get too lucky...Too many factors go into kdice to say that if you beat someone in a game you have more skill. Luck isn't even the biggest of those factors.

"These scoring systems are based on many games being played to even things out."

This is the theory, practice is however when
players would take opponents on random. Truth is however players taking care about their score are taking care in selecting whom they play against. Therefore this evening out is not true...

all i wanted to do was begin a thread that was of a topic of interest to alot of people...

i get feedback from a number of players that are valid comments either agreeing or disagreeing with me, which is fair enough as this is what i wanted...

i didn't however wanted it to turn into a pop at me!

@tech...i duno what ur problem is with me or what that thread was about cpl weeks back that started ur 'attack' on me but im sick of talking to u about it so consider it dropped and forgot...

@tehjoker..."sarah you are a fucking attention whore."
really any need? not once have i spoke, nor offended u so why be personal?

@dicelord...thanx for support but...

can we talk about the initial topic please?

1900/2000 tables?...

Sarah has a point, though. My current score just dipped to 1996 and I have nowhere to play. Sarah and I would be as nervous about playing at a 1700 point table as a person with a score in the 2100 range would be about playing at a 1900. I've seen 2100 pointers RUN away from 1900 point tables. I've seen others complain like crazy.

I just played a game at the table with one of those world-famous horrid starts. Finished 6th and lost 38 points. I'm now mid 1900's.

So I lose more points when I play at a table with 1500 than at a table with 1700? How is that calculated? Can someone help me? thanks in advance
(my score is arround 1700)
