End Game - How to avoid whining when you are winning

You're in first place & it looks like you're going to win, but there's still a few other people at the table.
How do you decide who gets 2nd/3rd/4th? Here are various suggestions: 1. Tell the people who have caused you the most trouble that you will wipe them out first 2. Herd people together and let them fight for supremecy 3. Tell everyone to pick a number. Closest to your number gets to live Those are just a few things that I've seen cut down on the "but I deserved" whining. Let me know what your other ideas are, because no one likes a whiner. |

It’s like Joby said: "The order in which you eliminate your opponents does not affect your rating. Your expected placing is determined pre-game." However, if you're playing with the guy ranked 100th and you're 101st, you might knock him out first so you can overtake him. That's why if all you care about is rank; it's in your best interest to take out the highest rated players first. |
