Well I think he rightfully felt cheated but like I said somewhere in my long post, everyone should experience this at least once (even on an alt) to realise how some games or tournaments are fucked up. Sadly enough, no one changes playstyle after they've seen the loser side of the system.

I'm certainly not asking everyone to become a saint, hell, I'm no saint either and will screw someone so I can advance or win too if needed. It's a competitive game, nothing wrong with that.

But aren't the limits pushed too far most of the time? I think a few people certainly do and I usually call them out for it (yeah Dabee, I mean you for example). I think it could help KDice a lot if more people promoted aggresive playstyles and called out lame truces or pussy non-attacking.

I think it's dumb to not go for your own win and play for a safe truce or 2nd instead. It's silly how many games end up being locked up after round 2, where everyone just picks a safe spot to play for. Or an early truce locks the board. Sometimes, it's like everyone plays on autopilot where you can tell in advance who will not attack who. I really wonder where the fun is in that.

So the mods can't do much about this issue, except maybe call out lame play and give a good example themselves.

2 other things I was thinking of was to continue this discussion and try and create a "honour code" for people who like to play competitively but also with some ethics too. The second thing could be to have an election every 2 or 3 months and award a contributor badge to the person who showed the most exemplary playstyle (fighting spirit combined with fair play and honour) during that period.

BTW, i have been victim of and I have seen way worse than what I did to Josh and never complained.

It's not about the medals imo. It's the points system. Why is sitting for like 3rd/4th better than trying for 1st and ending 7th/6th. Change that fucked flagging system. It's in our hands mates.
