Jesus you point whores are annoying. Make this game unbearable. So worried about medals that you refuse to play a clean game... hell I expect Fonias to always play for medals and cry, whine, pga whatever he needs for precious medals, but damn 1-2-3 truce after first round stacks in 5k...Cant even remember players names, kos was one, other two shameful tards I cant recall. WUP two bases and kills for points the next game, damn some players I have had some good games with are now complete tards. I'll give you my points, just play the game stop the bs point whoring crap

For all the talk about not caring about points sure seems to me that everyone here is a point whore.

at 1:46 PM, Friday December 28, 2012 EST In my opinion mods ruined the game not the players.
all form of fun games have been fucked over by mods because it ruins the fun of a few others. example: -team play has been banned because 1 player might not like it - shared accounts banned because all though most people used it for fun and pge the mods said it could be used unfairly and banned that too You can't even pge random people without mods saying you're funneling someone and giving you a warning I even got threats for being banned for making a game last longer than it should be. Mods changed this game to what it is now. There is no fun in it without getting banned/warned Most players are playing hardcore OTF because they got banned by mods for such dumb shit they want to cheat Tl;dr fuck mods |

at 4:04 PM, Friday December 28, 2012 EST Gurgi, the reality is that a few players have ruined it for the people who really only want to have fun. Freedom has ALWAYS been pushed to the limits into cheating by some people. So mods were forced to close the loopholes. EVERY rule came into place because cheaters forced mods to install it.
but here's a newsflash: * team games are allowed if all 7 players agree: WHAT THE FUCK is not logic about that rule? I doubt there ever has been a ban for a team game. I've tried to help organise the team games at first ffs. * pge is allowed unless you clearly see that it is a bullshit excuse of a team to lower the points of a competitor for gold. How many names can you give me of people who got banned for pgeing Gurgi? not many... or you'll say that you're too lazy to look them up. pge has only rarly been banned and I'm pretty sure I can say 98% of those bans were well deserved. * shared accounts are forbidden because some people use them to cheat. period. blame the people who have cheated with them. And we've been over this in previous threads: sharing creates HARDLY any extra fun to the game, you can achieve every fun thing on Kdice without having to resort to sharing. Find me competitive games where sharing of accounts is endorsed or where no action will be taken if admins find out that an account is shared. * pga is only banned when a mod is absolutely sure. Get real, check the advisorlogs, there's hardly anyone being banned for the bullshit moves they do. We as mods could actually ruin the fun and ban every ban move. MHSam has said many times that he should actually just ban the entire top 25 to stop all the bullshit moves. Ofc that's a bit too harsh but maybe we should have done it once to send a clear message. Also if we ban someone, most people just grab another account. So there's hardly any influence on the game since most people like you Gurgi don't give a shit about rules or mod actions. and finally, to come back to the essence of the problem, a small group of player have ruined the fun in different ways. 1) by cheating 2) by forcing mods to install rules against that 3) by hardcore otf and pointwhoring playstyles (cuz they would get banned for pga), squeezing as much points out of noobs as possible 4) by creating a system where people are forced to play along or get kicked out as well Most regular players who also play secret alts now and then will have encountered the situation where they get screwed big time in a game or tournament they should have won. It's kinda deserved that a noob loses a win because he can't play well enough to secure a win. But maybe the system is wrong when a very good player loses something he should win simply because a few remorseless pointwhores will sell their soul for a few meaningless points. Sadly enough, people play along to fit in. It's the easy solution. So your post was a nice attempt for attention and to talk besides the point in a thread that was otherwise badly needed to raise this issue about pointwhoring again. tldr blah blah, in conclusion: yeah mods have probably ruined a small part of the fun but before you start crying about that look in a mirror and face the real problem for KDice: it's the shameless, opportunistic playstyle of some that corrupts the rest that ruins most of the fun for most players. You probably like the current system too much because you usually profit from it so yeah, let's blame the mods instead. But OH THE IRONY, when Jesse and Herv screw you like the noobs get screwed in the big stakes tournaments, THEN you bombard my facebook with demands for mod action. |

at 5:53 AM, Saturday December 29, 2012 EST What on earth is supposed to be point whoring? Pretty sure everybody plays to win and by winning you get points, personally I wouldn't bother with this game if there wasn't any kind of competition involved.
