TJ, I completely sympathize with Trayvon's family for their loss. I think his death was silly and unjustified and I feel Zimmerman should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law (I've already stated that earlier in this thread). What I don't have sympathy for is the African-American community turning this into some fantasized hate crime. That is all I've been speaking out against in this thread. I haven't supported Zimmerman nor scapegoated him; however, I also don't think Trayvon was innocent in his provocation of Zimmerman. Did it deserve a bullet? No. Do I think Zimmerman felt threatened at some point? Absolutely. Despite that fact Zimmerman still deserves to be prosecuted, sent to prison, or injected with a needle.

Are we so well-manned that we can discard able young bodies and skilled laborers?
