I'm glad Zimmerman was released on Bond. He turned himself in voluntarily the first time instead of running away, supporting that he isn't a flight risk. Just because there's high media coverage and outrage on something doesn't mean someone is necessarily guilty of what they're charged. Maybe he's guilty, and the trial will determine it, but I'm glad to see constitutional rights being protected. #MERICA!!!!!!

at 9:31 AM, Saturday April 28, 2012 EDT TJ, I completely sympathize with Trayvon's family for their loss. I think his death was silly and unjustified and I feel Zimmerman should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law (I've already stated that earlier in this thread). What I don't have sympathy for is the African-American community turning this into some fantasized hate crime. That is all I've been speaking out against in this thread. I haven't supported Zimmerman nor scapegoated him; however, I also don't think Trayvon was innocent in his provocation of Zimmerman. Did it deserve a bullet? No. Do I think Zimmerman felt threatened at some point? Absolutely. Despite that fact Zimmerman still deserves to be prosecuted, sent to prison, or injected with a needle.

The Soviets did one thing right with their forced labor camps - what a fucking waste of money/bullshit of a deterrent the death penalty is. |

and who are you? if I was riding the media bandwagon, i would jump on the "hate crime" train...your blanket statement is incorrect. As I stated earlier, my views have not been shaped by the media. Thrax we had nothing to discuss in the first place, you misread my angle |

You're fucked. How on earth was he not innocent? He got stalked by some crazy dude with a gun on his way home from the convenience store. |

enough people say the same zombie bullshit and people believe it without researching or reading any of the case details. yes boog. he was just on a stroll home from the convenience store and zimmerman saw he was black and ran up behind him and shoved him to the ground. when 12 year old trayvon started crying zimmerman shot him in the head and took his skittles. |
