Organizing 3v3 games

Maybe it has been brought up before and i think we can do it by ourselves if it is still not a site option (if mods agree). So i thought we could try it a fixed hour once a week (i.e. Wednesday that there are no tourneys) We could do it either on 500s (so the funneling is less) or in 2k (so it is more interesting and noone sits by accident). Red, purp, blue vs green, yellow, brown. Somebody could sit as teal with an alt (i can do it for 4-5 games), or someone who does not care about pts, and lag out (so there are no ticking flag problems). Map should be big, teams could be arranged or made up at that moment, winner team stays, we can keep a scoreboard.

I would suggest:
1. Try 3v3 and the neutral person takes 4th
2. Teams based on starting colour (pre-arranged or not)
3. red purp blue vs green yel brown
4. We can start with just posting some results on forum to make it more popular and if we see that it is then we get more into a kind of rank
5. Provided that teams are set by colours (1/3/5 vs 2/4/6) a starting strategy can be to ruin your opponents instead of going for a connect, which could be fun and interesting
