at 9:08 AM, Thursday January 12, 2012 EST i'd have to wager that my streak of sitting teal on 5k and winning like 5 in a row was pretty money.

at 10:07 AM, Thursday January 12, 2012 EST veta, so what youre saying is either:
veta: he must have taken around 50x the number of rolls in those 3 games than he took in the other 32 (including a shit-ton of longass round games where he got placements from 1st to 3rd, i.e. a shit-ton of rolls) or youre saying: im too lazy to look at the obvious maths, and will jump to the wrong conclusion and call monte out for being even stupider than me. (that last phrase was to anger Gurgi's grammatical authority.) so which is it? dumb or ignorant? |

at 6:41 PM, Thursday January 12, 2012 EST Actually veta is probably right. Early on I had a game go 169 rounds with a bottleneck 4 stack where I went from up 21-6 lands down to 7-20 lands or so... other guy ended up quitting though, but that could be why the luck is so low.

at 7:02 PM, Thursday January 12, 2012 EST oh and the reason luck stats always average below 50 percent globally is because we naturally attack more than we defend over the course of a month. the reason being that we also attack gray territories which never attack back - if you added in the average global luck of neutral gray territories then the global average of all players would be exactly 50 percent... because mathematically it has to be.
i think this has been explained a few times now though (not sure if monte was around) |
