Here are the latest polls in NH:

Santorum got a bounce; and RP is gaining on Romney's lead. Two debates are scheduled in NH for this weekend. Basically everything can change based on those debates; so this is gonna be a exciting weekend.

Hope springs eternal.

I think he'd make a great VP candidate, actually.

i would guess that the reasoning behind attacking the smaller/weaker candidates isn't just to avoid blowing all the $$$ too early fighting for 1/2. probably also based on an assumption that Romney has a 25-30% ceiling, and that as the smaller people drop out, their support will tend to avoid going to Romney.

btw, what was newt's fundraising like in the last quarter?

and lol that I thought things were going badly for paul. I usually just skim foxnews... totally forgot their bias against him.

i disagree monte, i think the reason the front runners keep changing from romney is because the republicans dont want romney but will take them if they have to.

the same people switching their pull from candidate to candidate are the same people that will vote for romney and NOT ron paul when push comes to shove.

if they liked ron paul they wouldve chosen him already.

i called the gop primaries like 3 months ago for romney - still willing to take anyone on that bet.

Veta; I'll take the bet and you know I'm a man of my word.

Donate $20.12 to Ron Paul here: https://secure.ronpaul2012.com/

If Ron Paul does not secure the nomination; I will pay you 3 to 1. If he does win; you must donate 3 to 1 to his presidential campaign.

Let's make this official. You know I'm good for it.

As for your prediction that Romney wins; it's premature.

You say that if everyone wanted Ron Paul they would have already voted for him. Well I could say the same about Romney; if he were the man everyone would already be voting for him. Well that is faulty logic. There is a year till the election; plenty of time for people to kick the tires and consider all the arguments.

The cultural shift is on Ron Paul's side; not Romney's. As time goes by more and more people are convinced of the need for the changes that Ron Paul is advocating. Not to mention that he is the only one in the race who you can believe will actually attempt to implement his platform. Romney is totally just a typical say one thing; do another type guy.

Here is food for thought. What percentage did Romney win in Iowa 2008 (last election cycle)? 25.2% (29,949 votes).

How did he do in Iowa a few days ago? 24.6% (30,015 votes).

Ron Paul Iowa 2008 = 11% (11,817 votes)
Ron Paul Iowa 2012 = 21.4% (26,219 votes)

Times are changing.
