Thrax - if Romney wins the nomination and a _real_ conservative runs 3rd party would you swallow your pride and vote Romney or follow your heart and vote conservative?

Thraxle may disagree; but I see Romney and Obama as pretty much the same thing.

I can guarantee that if Romney gets the nomination; I'm voting third-party. Probably Gary Johnson.

That attitude is so strange since the most likely candidate will be the same or worse as Obama in terms of direction they would take this country and likely advocate even worse legislation that would be against your own interests.

Health, safety, and morals is traditionally a state issue.

I think the part that RP is saying is disgusting is the fact that Santorum would be for legislating religion at the State level.

Actually making homosexual acts illegal at the state level.

States exercise power over such things as dueling, alcohol consumption, abortion, concealed carry of weapons, and marriage. So why not sex?
