except not really because the united states only had a really bad recession after jackson killed the us bank - if we got rid of the reserve we would be completely fucked.

if you have any understand of why the federal reserve was designed in the first place you wouldn't call for it to be abolished. sure, perhaps it needs more oversight - less power concentrated in appointees but removing such an institution is tantamount to hurdling us into financial chaos
