Peter Schiff + Occupy Wall Street

Did anyone watch the video of Peter Schiff talking to some OWS protesters?

If not here it is: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2011/10/27/peter_schiff_takes_on_occupy_wall_street_protesters_again.html

Sure there are some loons amongst them; but overall I think the crowd is pretty smart. Seems like I would be in agreement with many there. Certainly not all; but some/many.

I think they need a better PR strategy and a cohesive message.

but if you look at each individual approval rating per their district, they are all high

dead, I disagree that they would stop working

there is a lifestyle you can sustain at 20-30 million income, that you cannot sustain at 1.2 (or something) income.

I think most people wanna gather as big pile as they can, I know I would continue work, cause still after taxes, my income would be HUGE.

(that is all after taxes)

Mrk; then you are the odd ball of the bunch. Plus you are historically wrong; it has been shown numerous times in the past that high taxes increase unemployment for exactly that reason.

Mrk I think you also are greatly underestimating the time and energy necessary to start and be successful at a business. You need the great upside potential to make the startup worth starting.

dead, do you think there is ANY place that would pay you 100 million for doing a job over a year (where most of the money comes from bonuses for doing a good job), would even concider hiring you if you only planned to work 2 weeks?

or would they hire someone that would commit to one year.

also, why would a person be willing to work at 50% taxes for the first two millions, while not being willing to work for 70% for the last 98 million.

a person like that would still make about 100K a day after taxes, or about 15K EACH WORK HOUR.
