Did anyone watch the video of Peter Schiff talking to some OWS protesters?
If not here it is: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2011/10/27/peter_schiff_takes_on_occupy_wall_street_protesters_again.html Sure there are some loons amongst them; but overall I think the crowd is pretty smart. Seems like I would be in agreement with many there. Certainly not all; but some/many. I think they need a better PR strategy and a cohesive message. |

at 3:50 AM, Wednesday November 2, 2011 EDT Wish I could ask him one question when he said he would not work for 30 cent per dollar
"so if you made 100 million/ year, you would stop working in January after you had 1.2 million paid out, and NOT make the next 29 million???????" because that is the math for people making 100 million / year |

at 11:17 AM, Wednesday November 2, 2011 EDT MrK the answer would still be the same (although your math is off slightly). Who would work for 30 cents of a dollar; and forget about how much money that may be.

at 11:41 AM, Wednesday November 2, 2011 EDT Most people would make the initial 2 million then stop working when taxes went up to 70%.
I mean it is kinda stupid to work while 70% of the money goes to towards a corrupt government (or anyone but yourself; for that matter). I would be out doing something else that interests me; or perhaps working in a foreign nation that won't tax me. |
