but yah, i see peter luftigs av as CURB-STOMPER. i mentioned that one like 10 times in forums for lols before it got banned. :D

but veta i like your strat tbh. instead of arguing against the main point, you accept it as truth, and try to enforce it in all situations.

like i know you dont consider peter's av porno, and youd approve of it with your euro-centric views, thats cool. its just funny that when you dont like a mod's ruling, you start throwing everybody else under their bus until they stop driving it. it might be an effective strat, but i feel bad for all those people that got ran over, dont you?

Well I think it's my civic duty as a kdice denizen to understand what exactly we are and aren't allowed to do and to clarify that line for other dicers. If someone is indeed breaking a rule, then they should be punished - that is what moderators are around for right?

If they aren't breaking a rule then they shouldn't be punished, I don't make the rules and my opinion of on the rules doesn't really count for much - so I can't comment on that last part.

However if it were up to me I'd probably get rid of the arbitrary, petty and temperamental moderators and introduce a system that actually works. Then again I like things to be clear and there to be no hypocrisy or confusion.

there will always be confusion in grey areas. whether concerning freedom of speech or OTF. there are some areas of kdice that are impossible to make black/white.

im just annoyed that whenever a mod makes a decision in a grey area, you declare it as black/white and try to extend that decision into black/white land, just to try to smear the mod.

at least it comes off that way.

I'm pretty sure the definition of pornography is cut and dry. Pornography is bannable, GB's avatar isn't pornography by any definition, I was wondering why it was banned and then I presented another avatar to see if the moderators would be consistent in their ruling (by whatever arbitrary measure they have).

They have not been consistent. So it seems rather hypocritical, don't you agree? Or do you care more about agreeing with whatever the moderators do (so you can become one) that you are willing to throw the freedoms of every other kdicer under the bus?

If it's the latter, good luck becoming a moderator.

srsly, the 'titmouse' has been around for ages. and is quite a clever av. for you to claim that it is pornographic does that mean mice turn you on?

Guys, at this point I think we can all agree that veta is moron troll that only likes trying to get a rise out of others. He doesn't care about rules, hypocrisy, or anything of the sort. He's an asshole, plain and simple, and I'm done entertaining him. I'm going to suggest that the mods NOT answer to any questions regarding bans in our mod forum. Veta has pushed it to the tipping point that I think the community no longer deserves to voice their complaints publicly and have them heard amicably by the moderators.

Congrats on escalating the situation Veta...

Wait so, so now when you're proven a hypocrite you just act like a child and metaphorically cover your ears?

Is this really what we want from our collective team of moderators? I thought they were supposed to be helpful members of the community, not a combination of the SS and KGB.

finally. this is what i was clamoring for several months back. other prominent forums make it a bannable offense for you to ask for bans in forums. instead they use a private message system so as to avoid all the drama (that is usually caused by trolls).

so either make a google group for the mods and make an extra mailto: link somewhere on the site that says something like "report cheating", which will mail to the entire group. or just tell people to report cheating via leaving messages on mod reviews.

either way, it fuckin cleans up the forum massively and gets rid of me putting in my two cents and veta countering with his 4 cents and me countering with a dime, and him buying a year long membership and wish buying a month.

srsly, get the ban requests and cheating reports out of the forum.

Don't like you and your buttbuddy friends having your dirty laundry washed in public I take it?

Sorry but even with the little transparency we have it's hard to keep mods accountable. If we had a system like the one you described monte do you think Fiero would have lost his modship?

If the community can't discuss what is best for the community then how shall it decide what is best for itself? Are we to rely on proven hypocrites and temperamental people like Sam, Thraxle and the like? Or should we rely on our possibly inept but constantly negligent site administrator Ryan?

Please I'd love to hear your take.
