There is a saying in law which says: "You cannot be judge and part of the accusation".
In our Kdice world it would mean that Mods cannot do their job while playing as they would lose their neutrality... |

at 9:37 PM, Sunday October 16, 2011 EDT Yes, yes you did. Go reread some of your posts in Jona's thread. You should not be condoning Sam's actions in fact you should not refrain from not condoning them either. You should be admonishing him, especially given that you vouched for him to become a moderator in the first place.

at 12:02 PM, Friday October 14, 2011 CDT Veta, it's amazing how badly you read me sometimes. I could give two fucks about how anyone perceives me on this site. I don't get offended by words typed on the internet by some person whom I've never met face-to-face (unless JP types it since we played beer pong once!). You are mistaking my lack of action for my lack of care or my love of Sam. Neither are factors. I'm simply not offended by things typed in a chat box. I'll conceded that there are some times when people are too flagrant and require a -chat or -post, but sam isn't one of those people. Being vulgar is not the same as being offensive. Fuck, shit, bitch, dick, pussy, fuckwad, dipshit, asshole, mother fucker, cum dumpster, etc., etc. are all totally acceptable (to me) in small to medium doses. |

I personally try not to ban based on games I play in (sorely tempting at times) but that's about as much as I can do. |

at 9:41 PM, Sunday October 16, 2011 EDT No, no I didn't. Go comprehend things I said a little better.
As a parent of a 4-year-old and a 3-week-old I can honestly say that I have no problem with Sam saying what he said if he said it TO ME. He said it in jest and it was meant toward Jona. I don't have the context for the rest of the convo so I can's speak on whether it was provoked or whether everyone lol'd at it when it was said. Would I have said what Sam said? No. Do I give a fuck whether you think I should admonish him or not? No. |

Thanks. |

at 9:46 PM, Sunday October 16, 2011 EDT Yes and I'm sure I was properly punished - ask jurgen. But I learned my lesson and I keep my language acceptable, and I certainly don't go around saying the mentally handicapped should be left to die - even in jest.

at 9:47 PM, Sunday October 16, 2011 EDT Maybe if Sam was punished he would learn the same lesson, but you condoning his language and behavior isn't exactly helping is it. You're doing more harm than good and considering you're a site advisor I sort of held you to a higher standard than that.

at 9:49 PM, Sunday October 16, 2011 EDT How would you like him punished? Just like we can't eliminate your sorry ass from this website, I also can't ban an Advisor. So shut the fuck up and move on.
