I only take mod action when I feel someone has crossed the line or when enough players express honest concern over someones behavior and in my judgement mod action is warranted.

If we had a set of rules and clear do's and do not's we would spend just as much time if not more dealing with people constantly being reported and posts in the forum about every little thing, since a number of players around here want to be taddle tales. We take action on what we see and what is reported and documented, this will always be the case and this will always be an imperfect system better than none.
