at 10:34 AM, Friday October 14, 2011 EDT LOL Gurgi, that is a big time exaggeration (99%). If they are able to post coherent thoughts in the chat box then they are usually able to be truced. It's the silent types that are hard to trust since they tend to do stupid shit.
I think the one grey area here that may deserve special mention is the silent truce. I'm way way way more likely to try and silent truce someone who is a long time player since they "get it" and at least 80% of the time they will see what you're doing. When you try to silent truce/move away from a random new player... about 80% of the time they will take your lands and move you from a 1-2 position to a 3-5ish fight. |

I'm not saying to gang up on the player but if given the choice I never truce people that don't give me a reason for me to think they are reliable. |

at 10:36 AM, Friday October 14, 2011 EDT silent truces are great with people who "Get it"
but even asking a player "truce?" there is a chance that they will just let you die for a better position (probably not 99% but enough) |

at 10:37 AM, Friday October 14, 2011 EDT you can usually just straight out tell a player who doesnt "get it"
'yo dude we silent truced earlier so halp' but if the player sucks at truces he won't care |

Trucing a friend over someone else is fair? that's what i'm reading here? OH, and there's a 2nd benefit of winning? WOAH why haven't I been playing this style! |
