Peyton Manning adds 6-8 wins to the Colts.....minimum
Eli Manning is horrible and should be embarrassed for comparing himself to his brother, and Brady, and Rodgers, and Brees, etc... The Ravens were my pick for the AFC crown going into week 1 and they didn't diappoint by spanking the Steelers. 7 turnovers on a sloppy day from Big Ben & Co. The Packers and Saints were entertaining on Thursday night and both look like offensive juggernauts. We could see them again in the NFC Championship game. The Cowboys blew the biggest 4th quarter lead in team history and Sanchez looked pretty damn good last night. The Cowboys could be good, but like the Giants, mistakes and turnovers could be their demise. Tampa Bay came into the season on a high and no longer the underdog! Then they lost to the much improved Detroit Lions. Matthew Stafford was solid and will be all season. My Redskins got a W against their nemisis the New York Giants. Rex Grossman was solid and interception free. The Skins stayed dedicated to the run despite little success moving it on the ground. The defense was stout, recorded 4 sacks, scored a touchdown, and shoutout Eli and the G-men in the second half. The Eagles started slow, but a Steven Jackson injury made it a little easier and the offense looked great by the end of the game. The jury is still out on whether these new look Eagles will jell by the end of the season, but they looked good in Week 1. Tonight my other fave in the AFC will get an easy W......the New England Patriots. AFC Championship New England vs Baltimore NFC Championship Green Bay vs Philadelphia Super Bowl Baltimore vs Green Bay Champion Green Bay |

harbaugh was just a bit too excited. shouldnt be jumping up and down like a girl after a victory, no matter how big an upset it was. youre in a professional league, act professional. jump like a girl in the locker room. |

at 1:17 PM, Monday October 17, 2011 EDT It was a pretty aggressive slap on the back that in the moment I could totally see being taken as a "get the fuck out of the way" shove. I like seeing coaches get excited though, had enough of Belicheck looking like someone pissed in his Cheerios even after a big win.

I still think Eli is horrible, and overrated. He threw a pick on that last drive yesterday (albeit barely out of bounds) and then needed a pass interference for 30 yards to the goal line. I still like the Ravens out of the AFC. The Pack is the real deal. Matt Stafford IS solid. I still like my picks for the conf. championships and Super Bowl. And yeah, fuck my Redskins for winning 3 games early. 3-13 is probably only good enough for the 4th pick in next years draft... |
