I would like to talk about the role of points here. Pts are meant to be a way to count victories and reward good play. When you can suicide and stretch yourself out to all 1s then ninjaflag and secure a 2nd, that is not fun. Nor is it fun to be harassed for a name like Mods R Stupid. This name is clearly not an immature gesture of obscenity or pornography, but instead a form of protest to the kind of abuse of power that you all have imposed upon this site.

Remember; Fun > Pts. I think Ryan was making this very clear.

My last 2c before i have to go for a while. Create a section of kDice where alliances can be declared as a challenge to other players and when people sit at a table they know for certain that they will need 3 or 4 people to counter. This site is a supposed community of what, individuals? That is not a community at all.

To be fair thrax i see where players will want to play this game every man for themselves, and that environment is what you mods should be focused on providing. But there are many players that would love to play in a sanctioned team environment. It would be easy, just make a 500, 2k and 5k table titled TEAM.
Problem solved. People knowingly put their pts at risk on these tables under the assumption of collaborative play.

By denying us the chance to evolve the game in this direction you are effectively blocking the progression of this site and it is stagnating.

I will always love this site and I wont say im never coming back bc I know I will, but its just not that fun anymore.

You are blaming mods for things we can't change. You don't think I want a team table to play on? You don't think I want definable tables that can be "blind", or -chat, or point free "fun" tables? You don't think I'd like to have a heads-up tourney? You don't think I'd like to "fix" flags/vflags?

I'd love for all that to get done. But your ire is aimed in the wrong direction. Every mod including myself has ASKED RYAN for these things. He either won't do them, or doesn't have the time to do them. Don't blame us for "ruining" this game, blame Ryan for getting busy IRL and not being able to spend time making positive changes.

perhaps you are right Thrax. But you do have the power to make these things happen. He has given you the authority to do so.

Why not declare these as team tables and let us play the way we want to have fun? If only for 1 month let us try it.

So ryan says "wtf are you all doing?" you respond "people have been asking and asking and we wanted to try it so we set it up" i doubt he would be mad, in fact it might inspire him to make popular changes once and for all. if not at least we took it upon ourselves to do something for the game.

i think this would be a better use of your time (that is moderating fun back into the site) than banning protest alts which are really aimed at the status quo

Because I'm not going to sit there and babysit those tables to make sure they get played properly. I'm not going to sit there waiting on some noob to sit teal and not understand what the fuck he got himself into. Ryan has the power to make these changes......mods do not.
