PGAs are against the rules. Backstabbing is not.

I brought up racial slurs because I think they should be treated the same way hate speech is. Again it is a SHORT BAN (Jurgen said so). Hate speech shouldn't be tolerated. Plenty of people get upset by the game and DON'T use hate speech. It's uncalled for. As I said before, just don't use hate speech and you'll be fine.

It's not about the ban for me other than the fact is leaves a mark on my profile I don't want (again, Pink_Taco summed most of this up pretty simply in his post). I've already made my point many times here and have even apologized to no avail. I still don't see why you don't think Julie is just as much at fault here for consistently crossing the grey areas of kdice so that she's perfectly okay with what she's doing.

First of all, thank you all for your views and your opinions on the matter. I think it is a good example of how hard it is to make rulings where a majority of the people agree with. Whatever you do, it's rarely good enough, people always find something they don't fully agree on. It's not only a yes or a no to a ban, it's also how long to ban and if verbal or written warning are sufficient compared to a ban.

So I still think I made a well balanced decission: not too light and not too drastic. I lifted the ban btw.

I do think poolparty apologised enough and clearly understands he went too far. Clearly this is not his everyday behavior (I hope), he doesn't fit the typical pattern of a dead serious gayhater.

Nonetheless, unacceptable stuff was said and the ban will indeed stick to that account to warn not to use that tone again.
