when people tell me "I'm a republican"...in my mind it registers "I'm ignorant"
I think it's interesting that I assign certain qualities to republicans unintentionally is that normal? |

at 11:04 PM, Wednesday July 6, 2011 EDT It is silly to argue about the Republicans not being racist because of what the party was in the 1860's through the 1960's when there was a major shift of social conservatives to the Republican party from the Democrat party and vise versa during that time.

at 11:22 PM, Wednesday July 6, 2011 EDT Sam you imply that all the racist people left the Democrats and joined the Republicans; but where are the facts for this? And if this is true; how come none of the KKK members moved as well?
Seems like you are trying to equate social conservative to racist. Please provide me facts on this; because this is a pretty flimsy argument. Especially one to call people racist. What I find remarkable is not that liberals claim that conservatives are racist; it is what always comes along with it. They never make the claim with any facts and it is always packaged with a phrase such as "you'll be silly if you don't understand this". Sam; you are smart enough to know that a flimsy argument + ad hominem does not equal a logical proof. I've shown a treasure trove of information linking the democrats to the KKK; including campaign material where they openly exclaim racist ideologies. Where is your proof? Surely if republicans are as racist as you show you will have something official to quote. No of course not; we are meant to believe that the republicans are racist; but keep it hidden. Republicans are so stupid; but they are able to keep this conspiracy of racism completely air tight. LMAO. |

Also yeah wiggle around it all you like - racists are republican generally or conservative/libertarian if you prefer that. |

you can thank the republicans for the abolition of slavery too whilst you're at it |
