when people tell me "I'm a republican"...in my mind it registers "I'm ignorant"
I think it's interesting that I assign certain qualities to republicans unintentionally is that normal? |

at 5:41 PM, Wednesday July 6, 2011 EDT Here is a fun game; go to the Wikipedia page for KKK (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ku_Klux_Klan) and search for "democrat" get ready to have your mind completely blown pieces.
KKK used to be officially connected to the democrat party; in fact; the KKK was mainly created to intimidate blacks and republicans from voting. Former members of the KKK have served as senators in the democrat party as recently as 2010. But republicans are the racist ones. Funny how the party that won the civil war; freed the slaves; voted for the civil rights act; and continues to support legislation that equalizes race in terms of government intervention; is some how able to be called racist. Meanwhile; the party that openly supported the KKK and continued to have members from that organization until 2010; voted against the civil rights act; and continues to keep minorities down by supporting affirmative action, welfare, and minimum wage (amongst many others); gets a complete pass. Ignorance is bliss I guess. Calling Republicans corrupt and religious is one thing; but racist is completely beyond evidence. Even Jon Stewart calls the whole racist republican thing complete and utter horse shit. |
