It's funny you mention him.

The first time I ever heard of him was in the GOP debate a while back. He didn't come off good at all. I believe he got into an argument with the moderators over his speaking time; and it came off pretty badly.

I partially wrote him off. However; as I tend to do when I'm uninformed; I started researching him and he seems to have a near perfect track record in my eyes.

He lowered spending in New Mexico; and as far as I know doesn't have a single issue I disagree with. He is basically a Ron Paul lite.

Unfortunately my research into him is only a few weeks old; so I can't thoroughly vouch for him; but so far I like him.

i only found out about him through twoplustwo.com forums, where he has been an insta-hit because he 1) created an account and posted a couple times, and 2) is an outspoken proponent of the right to gamble online. but he seems to be stuck in fundraising right now, and hardly anyone knows who he is since he hasnt broken through into the bigger debates. interesting fella tho.

Definitely would prefer him (his policies) over most of the GOP hopefuls.

Interesting you mentioned this Monte; because Gary Johnson has announced his candidacy for the Libertarian Party. I would definitely vote for him if Ron Paul wasn't in the picture.
