I don't see where the evidence is of RP saying that he is against restricting poll tests. I'd be interested in see the source of this because I was searching for a bit today and could not find it. On a separate note; being against restricting states rights on this issue is different then being FOR poll tests; which is what it sounded like with the wording of your sentences. If this is not the case; then I withdraw my criticism (upon seeing above sources). As for you saying that you are for voting restrictions on the "willfully ignorant"; that is a far cry from what you are saying now; "necessary understanding of issues" who exactly determines what the necessary understanding is? Seems like no better then the old racist laws of the past. |

at 5:51 PM, Thursday June 23, 2011 EDT willfully ignorant seems pretty chaste to me. also you did it again - you keep miss using restrictions on poll testing as restriction on voting, these are exact opposites. restrictions on who can or can't vote by litmus test are "voting restrictions.". Not allowing states to employ litmus tests or literacy tests are "restrictions on poll testing.". Why is this so hard to grasp?
Paul is against polling test restrictions because he feels they are unconstitutional. He isnt rascist and for Jim crow laws - nobody is claiming that. Just like I wasn't when I made my first post. You're just looking to start arguments and come off as either a jerk, moron, or troll. I'll find you a source later when not on a phone. But let's be honest, he's against the 14th amendment, the civil rights and voting rights acts and title ix. Even if I can't find the interview (it might be on a YouTube video) I don't think this is an easy claim to contest. |

I understand what you are saying perfectly now. My last post also understands the distinction. Your earlier posts were not clear at all. I'm not saying it is an easy claim to contest; all I'm saying is that you can't claim it period without a source. I've never seen/heard him refer to restrictions on poll tests to be unconstitutional; but I don't dispute that it is possible. I just want to see a source; particularly to hear his reasoning. |

If you have any comments or questions about the quiz, please email [email protected]. You can consult the following table to see how citizens and elected officials scored on each question. I got my ass kicked lolz. But Im still higher than the national average. :P |

Your test took 10 mins max, I took a lot more time to think things through and "guess" the most logic answer answer if I didn't knew it. |

And to be fair I aced this test in 08. This test was the "pretest" for AP History in high school. College corrupted me. I was smart at one point :P |
