Monte, I appreciate the concern for my well being; but I don't think the situation is as dramatic as you make it out to be. These forum arguments are not really getting anyone angry. Its just ranting and debating; for the most part. I really doubt BO goes through his day angry because of whats happening on this forum; and neither do I. Its just heated discussions on politics and other current events etc.

Sure BO trolls from time to time; like this thread and a fair amount of his recent threads; but other times he actually produces good discussions.

Anyway; I understand your concern; and I apologize for ruining your ideal forum experience; but I can't help but think that this is just typical of any forum on the web that has lively discussion. Without discussions; arguments; flames; etc there wouldn't be anything on this forum.

And concerning the list... lighten up; its a joke.

Especially after I made clear I would only advocate poll tests that require a necessary understanding of issues. As I said this would bar the bad apples [single issue or partylines voters] from ruining the democratic process. And we can all agree the democratic process is flawed, it got George W. Bush elected... Twice.

Restrictions on who can vote (e.g. Literacy tests, any other type of poll test) are illegal. let me clarify for you dead the term "poll test" historically refers to tests blacks were forced to take in the south before they could enter the poll booth.

Ron Paul is against restrictions on restrictions on the states ability to conduct literacy tests or poll tests. He is of the same opinion as me. Being that you champion him I called you a hypocrite and stupid for being ignorant (either of RPs position or 6th grade level reading comprehension).
