I see the Confederate platitudes of prejudice are still alive and well. If you really think racial inequality in the justice system has more to do with genetic disposition than society I would suggest you refrain from entering civil law, Jesse. The largest contributors of the racial disparity are of course the drug war and immigration laws but I'm not really an expert on this subject so I'd rather just direct you to an informative wikipedia article.

I was actually going to go through the demographics of other countries and their prison demographics to demonstrate the problem is inherent to the US (and not blacks or hispanics) but it seems rather futile when you were probably raised with these types of preconceived notions - and they're probably ingrained in you. Basically it's not your fault.

Anyway the only ethnic group I have prejudice for is the jews, I can't stand that they cry holocaust at any given opportunity and they're all trying to fuck you out of your money. Who invented the financial industry and it's bullshit institutions? The jews. Who killed a bunch of people of a particular religion and ethnic group only to take their land and businesses and then annex their country? The mother fucking jews in the late 40s and 50s and now they're trying to annex the West Bank and Gaza. How fucking ironic right?

just to be the sane person here. but it seem to me that the jews you are talking about are the american, and israeli jews. most european jews I have met does none of those things, I was at a demonstration against israels politics and war in gaza a few years ago, and I was there with 2 jewish friends.

also, I have rarely/never heard a european jew talk about holocaust in a debate. I did hear a few rightwing politicans trying to justify the iraq war, but not any jews (in a setting where they where spesifically jews, i.e talking from the jewish perspective)

i jest, but anyway i don't actually have a problem with jews. i definitely have a problem with israel but in general the whole middleeast has been a shitstorm since we divided the ottomans up.

i do have a problem with the state of the financial industry today (it's way too powerful) but it'd be a stretch to blame the jews or israel for that. it seems much more palpable and likely that greedy people of all creeds and ethnic groups are responsible for that.

i was serious about israel trying to annex the west bank and gaza though. not only is it kind of fucked up it's akin to poking a muslim hornets' nest of anger and vitriol. to be honest sometimes i do feel like siding with the conservatives that say we should just let them fight it out like everyone else through history has. but since we gave them the bomb we can't REALLY do that
