though i agree, that if u want to have an easy start in life, science is the way to go

u wont compete with investment bankers and the like, but ur nextdays meal wont be ur problem

humanities, at least i think, should be ur choice, only if u really want to put ur heart into it
cause mankind still needs to learn a lot besides scientific advancement. that pretty obvious if u look at shit goin around the world. if u wanna provide knowledge or thoughts, then humanities is the path

economics, however, is considered a social science.

I would say finance should be in the sciences because you need ALOT of math in many of the jobs, like an actuary, or making investmentstratigies based upon previous perfromance.

When i look around i see only a really small percentage of people who really put their heart into humanities. Most of them study humanities because of the sake of studying and humanities are the easy way to go.
