Im playing right now, and its kinda fun...obviously there is still work to be done aesthetically and it needs more people (my first game had only 2 real people and 4 bots) but i kinda enjoyed it...

I totally agree with Monte

I tried retiring for a couple of reasons but I also tried a few other games during that time.

Many of those games were much better developped, had real helpdesks, had social aspects to it too but in the end, nothing beats the Kdice concept of a simple, free strategy game with a fun (well it should be fun) goal to gain medals/points combined with a great community.

When I came back again, it took me less than 2 months to realize that going for the top spots would not be fun for me, you like it or you don't I guess. My luck didn't feel random either up until recently but the reason why I stayed and got hooked again was simple:

it's the Kdice community: many friends were still here, I caught up with most of them now, some other retired people returned too and amazingly enough, people just fit back in again, there is also a totally new generation of fun players around too and the mix of old and new is the secret to KDice's success.

CXION is fun. Playing a CX game with 3 bots is tons more fun that playing kdice with 6 people.

Favorite part about it, is how it forces you to be aggressive. (tie goes to the attacker!)

obviously this feels unusual.
thinking about, neh, i think this is going too far.
a middle ground would be in case of a draw to leave both stacks standing and not have the attacker advance.
that would already boost even odds attacks drastically.
