Here is another run (based on almost a whole month) of dom versus expected dom for a flagfest, adjusted for individual players' percentage profiles. The wimpier players are likely to flag sooner and will tend to have higher dom than those who fight it out. Or else they have better flag skills.
Here is the list. The lower the number, the less wimpy the player is, according to my hypothesis. Offer comments on the individual players wimpiness and/or flag skills. at 9:53 PM, Monday November 29, 2010 EST The dom stat reported in your profile is (theoretically) the percentage of remaining claimed territories that belong to you at the point in time when you flag out- but I don't know quite yet how it works when people get killed or flag out before round 5 or so. It's a reasonable estimation before round 5, but it isn't always completely accurate.
For example: A table has say 32 territories. It's down to the last two players- the person in third flagged out with 8 territories and the reported percentage on his profile is 25%. When he flags out he obviously leaves 8 neutrals behind. The person in first has 14 territories and the person in second has 10. Second flags out and gets 42% (10 out of 24 remaining claimed territories) and leaves his 10 neutrals behind. First gets 100% because he has all the remaining claimed land. |

at 2:51 PM, Tuesday November 30, 2010 EST wait, the people who beg for positions, or sit around while their trucers kill for them will be closer to the bottom...not saying that everyone close to the bottom does that, but Im looking at three people who are close to the bottom that will do that.
close to the bottom = (> or = to .80) |
