There are several huge gains a real forum has.

For one, we could have subforums. We could separate kdice strategy posts and questions from off-topic posts about rap, fantasy football, and peanut butter laden body parts.

Moderators could remove inane posts from people just seeking to make this a crappy place in order to get their way (see TBY.) We wouldn't have to resort to post-here-and-we'll-ban-you nonsense.

We could sticky a few specific threads. It would be great to have a sticky thread at the top with an explanation for noobs with links to the various resources.

We also could have more than ten posts per page, and not have to scroll past monstrous initial posts on each and every page of the thread.

These are just the basics off the top of my head; I know there are more I'll leave it to others to post them.

(Personally, edit buttons are dangerous, as people can post some pretty nasty stuff and then pretend they didn't. Better forums only allow you to edit for a set amount of time.)

And it would not be difficult to integrate the current accounts into the major free forums. They're highly extensible and far more complex things have been done and documented well.

Verm I don't make this place crappy to get my way. Sorry to burst your pathetic lil bubble. This place IS CRAPPY. The forums are full of only trolls and insulting assholes and pga crying.

I only trolled to prove a point. It took me a whole year + to get banned too and other members of the site behave much worse than I ever did and still never got all their acc's banned.

Before you take your dirty ass fingers and type about me I would suggest you just drink a glass of shut the fuck up and get on to your other posting...Which is pretty reasonable.

sigh, I am gonna pass on the forum discussion from now on. We have been over this far too often.

The forum is good now, it could be much better but it's in the hands of Ryan only.
