"I,in the rush to get things done, had to sign things that had earmarks in them"
..then he goes on to say more bullshit about how the public thinks he hasn't strayed away from that yet (implication that earmarking, etc is a product of Bush's administration). I really cant get over how the public's perception of Obama's administration thus far is still positive, despite the fact that he hasn't done anything he said he would do during his campaign. His platform was all rhetoric and he basically had no way of losing. First off, people subconsciously felt that they'd be acting in a racist manner if they didn't vote for him. I'm not agreeing with this logic, but I think it was definitely an issue. Secondly, the media blamed all of our country on Bush. In my opinion, Obama has fucked things up more so than Bush, and he didn't have to deal with any of the national crises that Bush did. .... "There was a big deficit that i inherited, and it has grown due to the recession." I'm not even going to comment on this. His "investments" are wasteful spending. Ugh, im gonna puke. The one thing he said that I agreed with was regarding research and development. He says that "clean energy could make all the difference in terms of job creation here at home." That is something that is true and as a country we need to take a huge step in developing green technology. |

at 6:11 PM, Thursday November 4, 2010 EDT PS. TARP2? There is no such thing. Do you mean the stimulus? Or perhaps you are referring to the 2nd $350B of the initial TARP that wasn't allocated until later?

at 6:16 PM, Thursday November 4, 2010 EDT "Reagan's boom?" The supposed Reaganomic recovery was the result of conservative action by the Fed chairman. He was appointed not by Reagan, but by Carter. Reagan inherited an already recovering economy. Just like Bush 1, Clinton and GW.

at 6:51 PM, Thursday November 4, 2010 EDT Nodice....There were 2 stimulus bills passed. They were called TARP1 AND TARP2 respectively. If there was another name for the 2nd bill then what the fuck ever.
And you are off on your 1:1 ratio. That's your inner racist speaking to you. Far more many people voted for Obama than against him for his race. Ima just start ignoring you now because you have proven your ignorance to me. |

Can't really say more than that. Keep drinking the coolaid though. It obviously does something for you. |
