My request to some old schoolers like monte and kam: Can you just stop trying to defend an obvious scheme for gold?


It's so damn fucking obvious that games have been thrown to ONIX. Why bother trying to pretend that ONIX/ chase is not cheating, when clearly he is.

It doesn't even have to do with defending how game play at the top tables works.


Why can't we just say what's really going on?
ONIX played 107 games and got 34% 1sts.

Really, who is dumb enough to believe that this happened without the help of other players??

Just admit that it's an obvious PGA. Nothing will happen anyway... Okay, ONIX might get banned for a few hours, but then the mods will change their (and unban him) minds due to pressure from some "lobbyists" and then he can still win the month by hardcore PGAing.

But please, for once, stick to the truth and don't tell people that they are bad players, when in reality they got pwned.



bottom line:
Nearly everybody knows that in the end, gold is being determined by the best (or should I say: most desperate schemers). I'm not saying that the player in first has cheated all through the month, but he has been helped to score the "big points".
The mods are absolutely powerless, they can' do anything against it. So why can't the schemers and their loyal supporters just admit it? Nothing bad will happen to them anyway. But the game will be more transparent and we would have less useless discussions about the most obvious things.
