PGA'd out of Sunday Tournament

4 people left in the tournament, they grouped up and took me out. Even after winning a 1v2 fight from a truce on round 1, the other player stepped in at the end and took me from 1st to 3rd. Another player had 43 pts left in the tournament and I was going to be 2nd place at least. Instead I got knocked out. I had begged the entire game to flag for 2nd even, because I knew the 3v1 was coming, and it wasn't allowed. There were many many high ranked witnesses.

at 8:40 PM, Sunday November 15, 2009 EST Point is, I never had a fair chance to win. I offered you the same thing everyone else did, and I offered to flag 2nd when I'd clearly won at multiple points.
There wasn't really a need to take me down from round 1, and nix definitely didn't help by attacking me as well. It really did turn into 3v1 effectively. There's no real need for a truce when you're that far up in a tournament and the person in second offers to sit behind you. You screwed yourself in the end too, but you ensured my exit without reason. I'm frustrated because it makes me want to stop playing the game. Why play for hours in a tournament, winning until the end, and get taken down by people who want to protect eachother? |

at 8:48 PM, Sunday November 15, 2009 EST By the way, Monte. You did 100% screw me. I offered at every stage of the game to let you have 2nd if you just sat, from the moment you first proposed the turn 1 truce. You should have been completely neutral between giving me and your "partner" 2nd. In fact, if you had let me fight potato fairly, you would have been way ahead for first. Instead, you ended up in second in an effort to guarantee that the two of you both placed above me.

at 7:01 AM, Monday November 16, 2009 EST wait wait wait.
order of events: -i propose truce to tater in round 1 so we dont kill each other and lose (this alone is a reason to truce in ANY round of a tourney). -tater accepts. THIS BINDS US TO A TRUCE NO MATTER WHO PROPOSES WHAT IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS. -im on the west coast, you are on the east coast. -nix is in the middle with tater, and attempts crazy rolls against me since he knows he has to get lucky to not get 3rd=4th=last. -nix wins all his rolls, i lose all mine. -tater tries to rescue me by killing nix, doesnt work. -nix kills me, i get 4th. in other words, at no time in that entire game did i screw with you unless you are suggesting that it i shouldve backstabbed tater. in that case, i should never trust you because you think backstabbing is a good policy. i could never even touch you all game. all i did was make the logical truce that the starting positions dictated. so stfu, i did nothing against you in this game. and in the entire tourney all i did was help you, except for that one round where you screwed us both. |

Fiero's guide to ignoring 'omg he pga'd me thread' 1. Read thread and laugh 2. Place blame back on thread cretor 3. Insult intelligence of thread creator 4. Emphasize that thread creator has no credibility 5. Never post walls of text that no one will read or visualize no matter how many details you put in them. 6. click post |
