I posted stupid quotes from people that won the Nobel Peace Prize.......which is relevant to the prize's lack of luster.

Three democrats from American politics have won the Nobel Peace Prize in the last 8 years. Thus my need to belittle the Prize and call it out as being left-wing leaning.

My statements have been relevant, nobody else's have been. Except for monte.......I saw that story as well.

What a great reason to honor someone with one of the world's most prestigious prizes........as a slap in the face to someone else.

Still haven't heard a decent reason for him to win. Stop dodging the question guys.

well, I also think that the award was given him far too early, that's why I said "it's a bit funny" (look above)...

But you asked for reason... let's hear what kind of reasons the committee chairman gives:

^^I've always heard that the scientific/academic community also tends to lean to the left, so it kind of makes sense.

Is the fact that it leans left the issue, or that it is politiced at all? Would you care if it leaned to the right?

Also, in a dream last night, George Bush came to my house and gave me interior decorating advice.

I don't like partisan politics in the first place, but unfortunately the only two sets of politicians in the U.S. (that have a chance at winning an election) are so far from each other in political views that hardly anything ever gets accomplished. Would I care if they were right-leaning.........not as much ; ), but I would scoff at any organization giving out a prize based on what they think CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED as opposed to what someone ALREADY HAS ACCOMPLISHED.
