It appears to me that you would rather just bitch and complain about the world around you rather than make a viable contribution of your own. I guess I expect this from some people on this site since there are a lot of egos here and most of them don't react well to anything they disagree with.

OK, one more time, and I'll be a bit clearer on it this time...

A) There are TWO KDICEMOD accounts on the website since Ryan didn't like the original name I created (KDICE MOD). Someone had already created a fake with no space and when Ryan took away that space from my account it made both accounts unsearchable and unmoderatable (is that a word?). Therefore I couldn't give the KDICEMOD account a contributor badge even if I wanted to (which I don't)

B) I'm not even sure a moderator can give himself/herself a contributor badge. That point about fiero not giving himself one is moot if you don't even have the ability to give yourself one.

C) Fiero had the "advisor" badge on him main account since that was the moderator account. My Thrax account isn't the mod, so I gave it a + so it has some kind of recognition. I'm not going to give it more than the one. I can't change the reason I submitted. I can't take the badge away.

Concur, it is lame for anyone to give himself, herself, (or, in the case of Fiero) itself a badge. It is also lame to try to defend the action as being justified. Just man up, Thrax and admit that you had a momentary attack of rectalcraniutis but that you are all better now.

Don't care what others think. (If I did, I certainly wouldn't sign up for a highly critical position like moderator)
