THE END OF PGAS!!!!!

These are the organized ideas from my other topic. PLEASE RYAN, READ THIS UNTIL THE END:

1)What if we COULDN'T SEE THE NAME of the players we're playing against? Than allies couldn't know who's his/her partner in the table.

2)Not only that but also, if THERE'S NO CHAT, then there's no way they can even stabilish a code to know who they are...

3) Also, if we're sent to an RANDOM TABLE BASED IN POINTS, there's no way allies can even know where they are. Like this: If player 1 want to play in alliance with player 2 in a 0 points table... And they're sent to a random 0 points table... The plan is over... Even if they're by luck sent to the same table, there's no way they will know it because of the first 2 ideas...

So instead of tables, we should see lines like this:

Line for 0 points:
27 people waiting, 17 seconds remaining to form next tables.

Line for 100 points:
4 people waiting, 8 seconds remaining to form a table.

4) THE COLORS AND POSITIONS ARE RANDOM as soon as you enter the table. That way, even if the PGAs describe the table they are to confirm they're there, they will not know who they are. Cuz in their page, they'll always be number 1 player with color they prefer. (Since there's no chat box, we could have a new feature to take place and actually help couldn't we?).

If they even dare to describe the table they are at and talk by MSN or something the time they're playing, we could even try a number 5:

5) THE FORMATION OF THE LINES OF PEOPLE FOR THE TABLE SHOULD BE "TIME BASED" and not autamatic. That way, even if PGAs click the kind of table they like at the same time, they will have to wait about 30 seconds until the line is formed and then mixed.

This idea came from "L":

"6)On a side note, Id love to see a "flag box" in place of the chat box. In my view a "flag box" would basically have 6 flags with the 6 corresponding colors next to a flag. If you want to flag someone, you click the flag next to there color and BOTH YOURSELF AND THE PERSON YOU FLAGGED TOO CAN NO LONG ATTACK EACH OTHER.

If I had a dollar everytime I would flag (VFlag or real flag) and got attacked to see "sorry didn't see" typed in Id be a billionaire. This could be abused by people suiciding and than flagging of course so some kind of program that wouldn't allow you to flag a person for atleast 1 rd after attacking them would have to be developed but I think its doable."

And just to remember, that would also prevent people that take advantage of the flag to stack dices and atack later...

IF THE ADM THINK ABOUT IT, A LOT OF PEOPLE DON'T PLAY ANYMORE BECAUSE OF PGAS, BUT IF THERE ARE NO LONGER PGAS, THAT MEANS MORE PEOPLE WILL PLAY... AND SURELY MEANS MORE MONEY SINCE IT WILL BE WORTHY TO PEOPLE THAT REALLY APRECIATE THE GAME.

As I told... That means more money. When Ryan started this game, he surely saw potential for it somehow (for amount of players, or money, or something). If he had the effort to put this game in practice, and he agree it would be good for the game in both ways (player and money), why wouldn't he have the effort to change for better if he had the effort to start it?

I still have a hope... But if that don't happen, I'm sure somebody will copy the idea and do it better just as they did with games like "Tactics 100 Live" that was copyed and turned into the better "Tactics Arena". If you think about it, kdice is only a multiplayer copy of "Dice Wars", shouldn't be hard to some developer to take it to another level... All they need is space on the net.

Max, the points NIGGLER are making do not go away simply by using your suggestions. The map can be described in AIM immediately and two players will be able to recognize each other very easily (regardless of no chat/random colors/everyone sees themself in position # 1).

Your idea for a line formation won't work simply due to the fact that there aren't that many people waiting to seat a specific table level, especially 500 tables and up. What if there are only 7 people on the site that want to play a 500 game? Will they be forced to wait for 3 or 4 more players to join the line in order to form a random table?

"IF THE ADM THINK ABOUT IT, A LOT OF PEOPLE DON'T PLAY ANYMORE BECAUSE OF PGAS, BUT IF THERE ARE NO LONGER PGAS, THAT MEANS MORE PEOPLE WILL PLAY... AND SURELY MEANS MORE MONEY SINCE IT WILL BE WORTHY TO PEOPLE THAT REALLY APRECIATE THE GAME."

A lot more players would leave due to the deletion of the social aspect of the game. If you eliminate chat, you might as well go play DICEWARS.

I'm not trying to shit on all your ideas. I don't like PGA anymore than you do. But making the entire game more anonymous would ruin the point of having this as part of an online community. The social aspect can't go away, it's the livelihood of this site.

Thrax... that's why I told "split kdice in both ways". You surely know there are people unhappy with this situation... I'm not saying to stop being social... I'm just saying to make everybody happy.

And the random sistem would definately make their life a hell... as I told:

Figure out who they are in a random table, with random player with no name is not that simple. And they will spend time to figure out... all the time.

Imagine I'm a pga. And I have 3 partners. On the 2nd round I know ONE friend of mine, but since they still are split and every round they change colors, I will have the hell of a match trying to not atack them and make a good game. I LOSE TIME trying to figure out who they are, or LOSE POINTS for atacking them/not atacking another player cuz I wasnt sure he/she was my ally. Before that, I have to confirm on the 3rd round. It's not worth it...

Either they will lose time or lose points.

And about dice wars... that's a bot sistem. Even if we COMPLETELY take out the social part, it still not a bot sistem. I'm playing against people... It's not the same thing.

And remember... I'm offering ideas, not trying to take ideas out. We can split kdice in a no-social part and a social part. That way everybody goes happy...

Thraxle: 'If you eliminate chat, you might as well go play DICEWARS.'

im sorry thraxle, but dicewars is no challenge at all. honestly, you can win every single game and its not even hard. Therefore the statement you made is bullshit and i would appreciate if you could agree with me on that.

Shev: in DICEWARS there is no chat, the attacks are pretty random and the opposing players run themself out of dice often. Kinda sounds like a 0 table, right?

UGB: I KNOW you aren't going to talk about a president that's creating a defecit!!!!! Besides, I didn't go to D.C. I'm not the protesting kind.

And yes, Bush and the GOP wanted deregulation a while back. They also wanted to put the regulations back in place when they saw trouble on the horizon. By that time the lefties had control of Congress and there was nothing Bush could do about it. I'm sure you'll disagree with most of this paragraph. ; )

Shev,

As I told... dice wars is based on bot sistem. Even if we take off ALL the social part of kdice, it still NOT the same thing. Here we play against people... Not pre-programed bots. I can win every single match there... but not here.
