I don't think that this was a game to game favour. Fiero made a clever move, that's all.

And there are actually two different varieties of tourney strat:

1) When there are still many players left, it's probably best to make sure that the player with the highest score gets nagative points, rather than a player who has only 25 pts left. So you will get more points and can afford one or two bad games afterwards.

2) When less than 8 players are left in a tournament, it definitely makes most sense to eliminate as many players as possible (especially those with only a few points) to make sure that you end up "in the money"/ "getting paid".


#2 apparently is more useful in Member tournaments, because there are usually less people playing it.

And that's what happened here.

If i killed mini and left 3 people in the tourney and mini and kevin said "lets 2v1 fiero for the rest of the tourney and try to take him down"... you would never put -play to them... certainly you would just call that tourney strat even though its a deal that extends beyond one game. I dont think you can mod the tournies like you mod regular tables.... there was no devious behaviour here... its kdice and its cut-throat... mini coulda just said 'screw you fiero' after i took out kevin and decide to beat me first round. The point of the game-to-game rule is to keep 2 players from screwing another player.. but in this case there were only 2 players left....
