would one of yall please unban us so we can enjoy the last day of the month? none of us were pgaing, as skrum can attest.
in reality, here is my guess: voh quit a week ago, and has not been back since. fiero and friends wanted to get him 1st anyways as a tribute and have rigged everything to make sure he gets 1st (even to the point of banning every single threat!!). there is no way that Vohaul would agree to these tactics if he were present. i mean, come on, we all have played with voh for over a year, and we know he doesnt pull shit like this. so, voh, please post in forums and explain the actions that your idiotic little friend has pulled. we understand this is not you doing this. and to the people with mod powers, for the love of God, unban us so we can enjoy the last day. last days are crazy cus everyone fights for points and placement, and this seriously kills the game when half of the top players get banned because a corrupt mod wants to throw a month to his retired friend. also, its funny how fiero only banned people whom he thought had a shot at getting to 85k+. does he really believe meagles that we would pga a person into 1st? srsly? i guess im not the most paranoid person in kdice any more. wherever you are leek, i offer you a toast. because i know youd be enjoying this scene. :) |

at 11:46 AM, Thursday July 31, 2008 EDT I apparently missed all the fun. I watched some of the 10k games but logged off about 11 p.m. The bans took place about an hour later. The hottest topic of controversy i witnessed was asshat's being banned for the alleged reason that he had called fiero's girlfriend ugly.
I paid more attention to the chat than the games, mainly because of the aforementioned banning of asshat. I do not visit the 10k tables often and may not be a good judge of whether pga is going on. The whole style of play at the higher tables is more stately (or some may say more wimpy) than that at the lower tables that I am accustomed to. When asked, I said that the play seemed to be fair. Fiero showed up shortly before I logged off and about an hour before all the bannings began. So I was not a first-hand observer of fiero in hour t minus one. |

You were there for longer then I was, yet I am banned, so I would guess that some events in question took place well you were there. With that said, we should not be pitting the mods against each other as they should be a unified front in public. Leadership needs to be consistent, but willing to change and be flexible when mistakes are made. |

at 12:17 PM, Thursday July 31, 2008 EDT I disagree Sam. Leadership does not need to be united, at least not when crimes are being committed by members of the leadership. Whistle-blowing is a necessary option when corruption runs rampant in any organization.
And thanks to Skrum for testifying to Fiero's complete and total unsuitability as a mod. "asshat's being banned for the alleged reason that he had called fiero's girlfriend ugly" Yeah Ryan, good call on keeping Fiero as a mod. Your good judgment is beyond question. (Insert rolling eyes here) |

It needs to be united when the facts are not quite clear, it doesn't need to be decisive at this time, but it should be consistent until things are discussed and a soultion is reached. I think, Ryan and the mods are handling this situation rather well right now even if I don't feel the actions against me were just. |

I have vowed to guarantee fiero 1st place in any game that we are in together. Please ban us both and dock him 33k points. Thanks. |

at 6:12 PM, Thursday July 31, 2008 EDT Since Ryan made a formal post addressing the situation, I'm going to leave things at that - he's gonna handle it how he sees fit.
As I said, I don't know all the details tho I definitely saw some suspicious evidence that made my head turn. Kdice is an awesome game. When people use AIM to coordinate and cheat or work cooperatively and organize prior to sitting down - that's the kind of shit that won't be tolerated AT ALL if it is noticed. I plan to create a rules section to make things nice and clear, and im also working on some suggestions that make things less likely to promote cheating and pgas, as well as make months more competitive for all. This situation might not have been handled perfectly, but I honestly dont think there is ANY perfect solution for such an intricate situation. Ryan handled things well, I believe. Fiero did well to sound the horn. |
