would one of yall please unban us so we can enjoy the last day of the month? none of us were pgaing, as skrum can attest.
in reality, here is my guess: voh quit a week ago, and has not been back since. fiero and friends wanted to get him 1st anyways as a tribute and have rigged everything to make sure he gets 1st (even to the point of banning every single threat!!). there is no way that Vohaul would agree to these tactics if he were present. i mean, come on, we all have played with voh for over a year, and we know he doesnt pull shit like this. so, voh, please post in forums and explain the actions that your idiotic little friend has pulled. we understand this is not you doing this. and to the people with mod powers, for the love of God, unban us so we can enjoy the last day. last days are crazy cus everyone fights for points and placement, and this seriously kills the game when half of the top players get banned because a corrupt mod wants to throw a month to his retired friend. also, its funny how fiero only banned people whom he thought had a shot at getting to 85k+. does he really believe meagles that we would pga a person into 1st? srsly? i guess im not the most paranoid person in kdice any more. wherever you are leek, i offer you a toast. because i know youd be enjoying this scene. :) |

However, if I had a gripe against every player that ignored threads about racism, then basically I'd have a gripe against every player (nearly). I'm just taking the opportunity to remind those banned players that its not cool to only speak out about abuse when its you thats been abused (like they have now). Of course I give a fuck about them really. I'd hate to be banned for something I didn't do, but most of the time they have a life of reilly. So maybe they can appreciate abuse when others get it,next time? Probably not, tho',eh? |

the only person you can point a finger at is bcmatteagles, for his completely illogical conclusion that a 'mob' would funnel points. what was the 'mob's reaction? i dont know. however, i DO know MY reaction, which i even posted in reply in the forums. i dont fuckin cheat to get back at cheaters. that is not the way to do things. when you see a suspicious cheater, you ask a couple other people to monitor his play, then you take it to a mod. you dont take this situation into your own hands and form a cheat team to prove a point. this is what confuses me the most. everyone says i funneled points to nuf. and if i deny it, they call me a liar and a cheat. wtf is going on. is this some kind of lame police interrogation where you are guilty until proven innocent??? grun if you had watched ANY of those games, whether i was in the gallery or in the game with nuflis, i NEVER said flags to nuf. i never even flagged to him. when he passed voh, everyone else said congrats nuf. i didnt! i am not a part of any point funneling team! ARRRRRGH! |

I'm fine with Fiero keeping an eye on things and I'm sure Ryan appreciates people coming to him about PGAing. But I think, in this case at least, there seems to be a lot of "Punishing the whole class for the mistakes of a few students" (A phenomenon that I'm sure everyone is all to familiar with from childhood, haha).
I watched a fair amount of those 10ks yesterday (admittedly, not all) and to suggest that all of the players who have been banned were conspiring to boost Nuflis' score (Which is exactly what the AdvisorLog says) seems a little excessive. I got ridiculously lucky on a strong of 10ks last month, most of which were with the same group of players (just ask Orlafede). There was no PGA or boosting of score, or Old-Cabal guys for that matter, and it would be ridiculous to punish everyone involved as a result of coincidence, luck, or skill. But enough about last month. I think Ryan has acted well in getting the bans lifted tomorrow, but it seems to me that the real problem/issue at hand has really very little to do with PGA. I think this looks like a culmination of all the division that I see in KDice recently. Which is a damn shame. |

@Grun I agree that action is this case was better then no action. But some of us that were punished honestly believe we were doing nothing wrong, and not in the everyone PGA's doing nothing wrong, but in the I was trying to win every game I played. When drastic action like this takes place there needs to be transparency and at most of the 10k's I was at skrum was watching and saw honesty, where fiero saw deceit. So with no evidence for us to debate we are left to scream bloody murder. PS, posting from alt because I can't play from main. |
