I didn't even ban the person in 3'rd place with one of the top winning percentages. The bannings had nothing to do with vohaul whatsoever.

Personally, I think its good that fiero is actually doing some moderating.

I'd have a lot more sympathy with those who were banned today if any one of those players actually said one word against all the racially abusive crap that goes on here, which in my opinion is really unacceptable. But you dont say one word....cos it doesnt affect you personally.

monte....I've complained a lot lately about the racism I've seen here,and all I've got for it is a lot of shit basically saying I'm a big nancy who should appreciate freedom of speech. Thats bollocks. Racism is unacceptable. So, whilst you might have said something,it was harldy loud and clear, cos the racist crap still goes on. Yesterdays racist player got banned from chatting for a few hours....jeez...thats a punishment...not!

I am going to say one thing to all of the people banned accept for maybe Nuflis. You all are the worst thing to ever come to kdice. Are you mad because you didn't get enough support in your posts and that these top players ignored you? Well, then ignore the posts they make about their problems. The repeated posts you've been making (in seemingly every thread on a different topic) are both redundant and juvenile. If you don't care about what's going on, then there's no reason to say anything...

I've seen complaints that people have been cheating because they are given first place in games. I don't agree with you montecarlo. I think Vohaul DOES condone this activity. The proof is right on the leaderboard:

I support Fiero's decision to take action.

He even IM'd me for advice on the situation and wanted to know what I thought, before taking any action.

While the individual mini-decisions made are always debatable about how fair they are, there is NO doubt in my mind that SOME action should have taken place. And for that I applaud Fiero for having the brass to address the cheating issue.

There are to be no pgas (or funny business) when it comes to funneling points towards another player to boost their score. End of story. And if nuflis had no idea this was happening, (and i'd be inclined to believe him, even), then he should be equally pissed off at those who tried to rig the games.

The length of the bans and such are minor details, I truly support Fiero for taking action and sending the message that rigging the months wont be tolerated. Fiero also wanted to JUST ban for a few days, and I advised him to ban for more, for 14 days. And I am one of the most lenient mods when it comes to setting punishments for breaking rules - but I deeply feel that pgas or any score-fixing is simply not cool and is one of the most pressing problems that needs to be handled.

I havent seen all the screenshots, but the scores alone were extremely suspicious. Ryan already chimed in and said he will alter the punishments to what he deems fair - but I think Fiero did a noble thing.

There's a mentality that kdice has pgas so you need to pga to win. Well you don't.

And it is illegal. I'm working on compiling a draft of an official game rules section to post on the page, but Ryan has said it numerous times that pgas and rigging games for points is not allowed.

Argue all you want about the details (who got banned / how long), but I can see no reason why anyone should disagree with actions being TAKEN. Fiero, in this case, tried to preserve the integrity of the game.
